Member of FEDA
Motrac Hydrauliek B.V. is as a supplier of hydraulics a member of the Dutch national fluidpower association, called FEDA, promoting the application of this technology. It consist of almost 200 members in the mechanical drive –and motion technology.
This national association FEDA is member of the international umbrella organisation in Europe: CETOP. Cetop is a abbreviation of Comité Européen des Transmissions Oléohydrauliques et Pneumatiques, thus CETOP is the European Fluid Power Committee. Through the 18 national associations such as the German VDMA, the Belgium FIMOP which are member of CETOP, all well known companies in Europe belong to the European Committee.
What does CETOP do?
CETOP provides support for its members in many different ways. They are working closely together with our member associations and their companies - together with the industry for the benefit of the industry.
To their members they offer for example:
- CETOP statistics on European fluid power - unique in offering reliable data tailored to the interests of the industry, available exclusively to companies of the CETOP associations.
- Supplier and product database to advise customers - information on more than 1,000 companies and their products.
- Education and training initiative.
- Position papers concerning EC Directives - industry's response to the Commission's proposals or directives.
- Lobby at the EU Commission - both in technical and marketing areas, harmonised pan-European proposals are a vital requirement for success.
- Platform for the exchange of experience and opinions.
- And much more.
Regarding the application of the Machinery Directive Cetop has published a position paper PP07, which explains how to implement this directive for the hydraulic market. Within chapter “machinery” we refer to this document and we explain the position of Motrac Hydrauliek B.V.
Motrac Hydrauliek B.V.
Motrac Hydrauliek is a supplier of hydraulic components as well complete hydraulic/electronic drive packages for machinery and shipapplications. As such Motrac Hydrauliek B.V. is not a manufacturer, but a supplier of components and/or contractor for the assembly of partly completed machinery. Our goal is to deliver all components and system solutions in good working order including functional testing. Each system, e.g. partly completed machinery is delivered with manuals and instructions according the guidelines as mentioned within chapter “machinery” and also with possible training. All our assembly, maintenance and service activities are certified according to VCA (see picture). Our company in Germany has been certified by Bureau Veritas and has an approval: - BUREAU VERITAS RECOGNITION FOR BV MODE II SCHEME MS.W.II./75737/A.0 for Linde pumps HPV and BPV. (see picture)
