Productintroduction TL2-control for open loop pumps HPR-02
We are pleased to present the TL2 controller - the first of a new generation of open loop pump controllers with swash plate feedback capabilities. The TL2 controller is a load-sensing controller with an integrated hydraulic mechanical power limitter that follows a hyperbolic perssure/pump flow charasteristic.
Below the torque limit preset on the pump controller the hydraulic pump operates in regular load-sensing mode. If the hydraulic system pressure demand at given pump flow exceeds the hydraulic power limit, the load-sensing controller is overridden and the pump is destroked along the maximum power hyperbola. If the system pressure drops again, the pump is stroked back to the initial operating point or returns to regular load-sensing operation.
As standard the torque limiter of the TL2 controller comes with a hydraulic mode shifting feature: Using the preset torque limit as a basis, the powerhyperbola can be shifted to higher or lower values by the means of separate control perssure ports.
Due to its purely mechanical design the TL2 controller works without any electronic components. Its nearly ideal hyperbolic charasteristic optimizes the utilization of installed power, while the prime mover is protected from overload. With multiple pump units, a strictly defined proportion of the available inputpower can be assigned to each pump.
